Winged Foot of Hermes Sculpture

This sculpture reproduces an object from an old Drawing School Academy and is stamped with the No 24. In Greek mythology Hermes, son of Zeus, was emissary and messenger of the gods. He served as protector of travelers and commerce and moved freely between the worlds of the mortal and divine.
